Texturing is an art form in itself. I love taking the care to think about the history, wear and tear on an object. Sometimes that care gets lost when techniques get too automated. I textured the whole project in photoshop using various brushes, no photos and no additional software, other than NDO to convert greyscale to normal maps.
One of Airship Images main clients is Playground games/Microsoft game studios. As the primary artist, we developed 19 characters for the original Forza Horizon game.
I worked with Incubator Effects and Brent Sims on the collection of short films 'Grave Shivers'.
My role was Visual Effects Supervisor and Principal Artist.
I also created the Intro Sequence shown in the trailer.
